My board game storage space is like a Bag of Holding...
« on: September 04, 2013, 01:54:35 PM »
Every time I put something new in there I think there is no more room left. Then I get another game, and somehow manage to find space for it.

Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day.

Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

You should be good till November...

Do you think you'll be able to squeeze Myth over the D&D games? ;)

My Myth storage space is it's own trunk.  I'll fit one copy on my shelves somewhere.

I just bought an armoire for the living room.  Both bottom drawers are to remain empty until Myth gets here.  I HAVE SPOKEEEEN!
Don't listen to anything I say.  I'm still a n00b.

I need to find more space for my stuff. It currently just occupies a coffee table with a bunch of other random things.

I have a 400 sq ft library lined with bookshelves.  I'd say it's about 40% books, 60% games.

I think with myth coming in and X-wing I will have the same issues. But I am clearing out old games (really bad ones) and check what games I will be playing and clear out the rest and make some room for Myth/40k and X-wing. For most games there is no room downstairs but we have a big cupboard  now to contain only the new and most played games the rest upstairs for storage.

But it is always good to clean up so we need to make room.

Added 3 games: Relic, Bodgermania, and Scrappers. Had to remove Scrabble..but hey, if you gotta toss a game, it might as well be that Words with Friends knock-off.

Nope. I haven't actually played KoT, but I got it on sale at some point because the deal was too good to pass up. Kinda disappointed that it uses cardboard instead of actual minis. Is the expansion worth getting?

Oh yeah. Very much so. And there's another coming out in October. It's a really great game and very rules lite. Easy to learn and loads of fun.

Well, given that I'll no longer be getting paid for doing my job for a while...maybe sometime in the future I'll pick it up. Just dunno when.  :-\
