Why would they book time with the manufacturers before the PM was completed and locked?  Even people who went all-in have the opportunity to add additional items and packages on behalf of friends, family, or piggy-backers.  There's no doubt that Megacon Games has met with manufacturers, sure, but after the last KS's delayed shipping and what-not, I can't believe they'd be locking down a production schedule before having final numbers from the Pledge Manager.

First of all, I gotta say I like that base!  I'm kinda scared to start basing my minis because I'm afraid of screwing it up... or going too far, not knowing when to stop.  Secondly, for the skin, you could add another wash coat to just those areas to darken it up a little if you think it's too light.  As for the leather, I kinda like it dark.  There's still enough contrast that it stands out.  And for Keesi, I'd say definitely go for that lighter highlight.  I would even say he'd need to be a brighter shade of green, so that he pops out of that darker tone of Og even more than he does now.  I'm trying to figure out how to make Keesi just as imposing as Og on my own mini right now.  I'm thinking of having Og be a giant white rat, and Keesi be the darkest orc I've painted thus far.  So far, it ends up just looking like a dark lump on an under-painted figure.  Yours looks much better!

I started painting again after MONTHS of not touching a brush.  I decided that this time, I'd tackle some of the bigger models because the mindless monotony of minion minis was messing with my motivation.  Again, I'm a first-time painter, so take it easy on me, but DO criticize my work please!  These mark the first time I've ever done gradients, magma/lava schemes, even freakin' highlights on cloth and muscle, and I won't get better without some helpful words to push me in the right direction.

Razorfiend, the Abominable

With Razorfiend, I've always thought he looked like Bigfoot.  Since there are already so many earth-toned models in this game, I wanted something different for this KS-exclusive mini.  I went with a yeti, as you can see.  I'm waiting on my Tamiya clear blue to put in his eyes and to hit the protrusions on his furry gauntlet things.

Syclopt, the Goldeneye

Of all my recent paintings, this is the one I'm the least satisfied with.  The colors are all what I wanted them to be, but the mood is just... off.  Meh.  I'll deal with it when I'm done with some other models and see if I learn anything new to apply to the Syclopt.

The Terror with a Thousand Legs

For the Terror with a Thousand Legs, I went with a charcoal palette.  The official colors are too brown for my tastes, and I wanted to have the teal accents reveal the toxicity of the arachnids.  Tamiya clear green makes the eyes and maggot slime really pop after the dullcoat is applied.  Also: first time painting a color gradient for a carapace!

Orcneas, Master of Masters

Orcneas, Master of Masters was actually the first model I painted since I went on hiatus.  I sat down one afternoon and just went for it for 2 solid hours, and this is what happened.  I chose to have him be a pale orc to reflect his age.  I'm still toying with the idea of putting Tamiya clear red on his axe blades.  Good idea, or no?

Urulok the Young

I know.  I know.  Urolok is a YOUNG dragon.  I get it.  But I couldn't resist trying a magma scheme for the first time, and he was just sitting there, begging for it!  Again, when my Tamiya clear red gets here, it'll go on his eyes and claws to make them pop a little more.  He also hasn't been dullcoated yet, so should I use a satin or semi-gloss instead?

During the Journeyman Kickstarter, I was financially unable to back at the Minion level due to a 10-year anniversary, our 1-year old's birthday party, a bad boat engine, and a fender bender.  Reluctantly, I kicked in a measly $6 for the updated cards and rulebook.  From what I understand, there were quite a few other people who backed at that level.  When the PM opens (in July/August, who knows) I plan to grab the Minion, Item Expansions 2 & 3, Quest Expansion 3, the sculpted lairs, and the JM Spriggan (I know, I know, there are so many more options, but I'm doing the best I can here!).  That will put me at $175 plus shipping, if my math is correct.

I was wondering, how many others in these forums are in the same $6 pledge level?  What limited you to $6?  When the PM opens, are you planning on putting more money in?  Would further Stretch Goals have any impact on how much you add?

Seeing as how I don't have the funds right now to back Journeyman, I'm all for joining an online gaming sesh with you guys.  I did back at the $6 level though, just 'cause I don't want to print a new rulebook and cards.

Well, personally, my wife and I had a baby 6 months ago, and I bought a PS4 in August.  My minis are sitting in the same box they shipped in because I'm ashamed that I haven't got the time to start painting them.  I've even started calculating how much it would cost to ship them to to get them done.  I'm still really excited about Myth - I just don't know if I'll ever have time to play it.

Jedi - Mind tricks, force push, and a stronger melee attack than the Sith.
Sith - Weaker melee attack than the Jedi, but has ranged force lightning, choking, etc.
Bounty Hunter - Strong ranged attacks, like bombs and grenades.
Smuggler - "In shadow" type things, with fast, light ranged attacks.
Ewok - Because why the heck not?!?  Jubjub!

I've seen the future of balanced, multi-classed PvP, and it looked a lot like Borderlands 2.

I'd like to see them add different classes.  And no, they're not different already: they're all one class with three different skill trees.  All classes play exactly the same IMO.  I'm with ya on the vehicle thing, though.  You're telling me that all these aliens have vehicles that shoot, and none of the playable races have figured out how to strap a gun to the handlebars of a sparrow yet?  Maybe we deserve to be consumed by The Darkness if we're that dim already!

Unrelated note: I'm never going to finish painting Myth.  I'm about to just grab spraypaint and say, "Heroes are gold, orcs are green, bugs are brown, etc."  At least then I'll be able to play!

I'm not saying that there won't be any planets, just that they haven't shown any new ones yet.  The leaked info came from a bug after patch-before-last, where people saw new raids and strikes on existing planet maps that they didn't "meet the requirements" to access.  What I'm saying is, I'm not committing to US$35 expansions until I see the value, and variations of the same things are not value: they're Call of Duty.

Yeah, I got an email at work letting me know that something had shown up for me, and lo and behold! it was my second shipment!  Tons of plastic in that little box.  I'm rethinking my "Tier 3" paint job (Tabletop-quality-plus-some) and am more leaning toward "Tier 1" (Just-slap-some-paint-on-so-we-can-play-already)!  I might put more effort into the minibosses and bosses, though.

Currently, I'm in a Diablo 3 kind of mood, at least until the engram patch for Destiny gets implemented.  I'm trying to ween myself off of Destiny because I don't want to spend US$35 on 2 expansions.  That's US$5 more than the LEGO Marvel PS4 game, and I'd much rather have that than Destiny expansions that only add raids and missions.  Show me some new planets, Bungie!

I'm playing it, for sure (whenever the baby's sleeping).  I feel ya on the Borderlands comment though: to me, it feels almost like the same game.
* The controls are nearly identical.
* The supers are about as useful and balanced.
* You use the shaders to "customize" your character.
* In the end, he who has the best gun, wins.
* Raids have to be done with a group.
* It's RPG-lite, with skill trees that deal mainly with cooldown timers and few abilities.
* There's a story buried in there somewhere, but I don't miss it as long as the shiny loot keeps dropping.

Overall, I'm still getting into the groove of playing it, but despite all the internet hate, I'm enjoying it.  My primary Hunter is level 14, so I'm not able to do any of the high-end stuff yet.  But I'm STABBING ALIENS IN THE FACE while I'm free-roaming around an abandoned colony ON VENUS!!!  What's not to like?

...Well, besides the fact that my spaceship doesn't do a damned thing.  I spent about 3,000 glimmer on it, and.  It.  Does.  Nothing.  Differently.  No one likes that part.  Oh, and there's no in-game map that I can see.  Oh!  And there's next-to-no dialogue, so it's like the whole cast consists Peter Dinklage reading lines to an army of mute Links from Legend of Zelda.  But other than that, totes digging the game.

I'm pretty sure it's a game about painting.  I started the main painting quest, but have yet to finish.  I suck at this game.  I'm thinking of substituting LEGO minifigures for the heroes just so I can skip the quest where you meticulously paint each pouch and eyeball on them.  Houserules.
