We haven't run out of mini's yet. But that is due to the face I bought an extra base set... 30 grubbers/4 muckers seem to be enough. :) Wanted to be able to run multiple hero's when we get the alt gender hero sculpts. Yes, I bought the metal ones too. You could say I went "all in" when the pledge manager reopened, otherwise I would have double captained.

From MCG, the Skald will be available at retail, the Spriggan has been hinted at being a "Druid" at retail. And no, I do not wish to sell either the plastic nor the metal minis I have coming... ::)

I believe what we are seeing is some clarification on the German translation of the card. I like the fact they standardized the Attack line with the dice pool and damage. In the English version, they are mixed into the description. I don't have the cards with me but I think the monster cards in the base set have the dice listed that way, or at least the boss and mini-boss do.

I have been playing 3 solo, Archer, Soldier & Acolyte. While trying to get all the rules down, they seemed to work well together. Soldier runs up, Archer sets up her shots, and Acolyte buffs and heals. I will start switching it up, when I make fewer mistakes with ap and fate dice... as well as being more confident with the 3 hero decks I am playing with.

Well, guess I've been doing that wrong!  :-P  Oh well, just a few monsters that probably wouldn't be as dead. 

Anyways, then one additional question, what do you do with "useless" loot then?  I mean, we're playing two player games, so that means a LOT of the drops will be pointless items...  Wondering what other people have done.  Maybe I should just remove the drops for the other character classes?

Save them to sell to merchants latter. Most non-quest items have a sale price. You can use the money to try buying items to do want. Taking out items that don't apply to your class would imbalance the treasure system.

Why not take out "some" of the unneeded treasure cards. You could even it up by having only 4 of the class cards (in the 2 player game) so you could still get some loot to sell, and more useful cards for your hero class to find. No different than a DM customizing treasure in an adventure to the characters playing it. Remember, you are in control of the "story".  ;D

I will also agree with ffg sleeves, I have 5 packs as I needed to sleeve my second set of hero decks as I bought a second game copy and did not get the stretch goal sleeves. I bought some ultra pro sleeves for the darkness deck, they are the perfect size. The deadly temptation sleeves fit the theme nicely. http://www.ultrapro.com/product_info.php?products_id=1877

I did not buy the add on "flame" sleeves. But I did buy clear sleeves for the cards that will be shuffled most often (quest, merchant, alt hero cards as I bought a second copy of the game not dbl captain) ordered different sleeves for the darkness decks and left the item decks unsleeved as they are not handled as much as the other cards. After receiving the Darkness card sleeves and putting them on, they are a better fit than the FFG clear sleeves! Only annoying thing with the Ultra Pro sleeves is each one has a holographic dot on the middle of the bottom of the sleeve. Which makes reading the bottom of the card difficult. I had to put them in "upside down" to be able to completely read the bottom of the card. Still very nice...
