The only company bigger than Piazo at GENCON would be Fantasy Flight, and they are even bigger this year from what I hear.

I'll be at GenCon for 3 days (Fri-Sun) this year.  My first one in 14 years, after being a regular up to that point in the Milwaukee days.

I have three objectives going in.

1) I'll be playing a couple sessions of True Dungeon.  Have heard about it for years.  This will be my first time playing.
2) I'll be playing some Shadowrun.  I actually haven't gotten to play that since it was owned by FASA.  New rules edition coming out next month (at Origins) and the living campaign is completely resetting, so it's a good time to try it out.  (Too bad that almost every game was sold out in the first second of tickets going on sale.)
3) I'll be heading to meet the MERCS team at the MERCS booth.  Meeting MYTH designers and players is what made me jump to head back to the convention.  Hoping to have interviews, demo play notes, etc to share back here at the site.

I will be attending GenCon again... it is our "guy" trip every year.  Anyone know if MERCs is doing anything official for MYTH?

Mercs will be playing slaughterfield at their booth on the show floor.  I definitely plan to spend some time there (and even hoping to get a live interview or two in while I'm around for the weekend.)

It looks like I won't be going up for the entire weekend, just Saturday. But we should all meet up and play a round of SLAUGHTERFIELD.

Please do a better interview than the one from Origins.
I think Duncan looks like a tiny little girl.

But, seriously, my excitement for this game grows with each passing week.  Like a fetus.

What I'm telling you guys is that I'm pregnant with MERCS' baby.  I hope it's a tailless.

I don't think that'll be very hard.

It's all about asking the right questions.  If you recall, my first question was about what beer to celebrate with?

Since I was thinking so long term, this also means I know which beer to buy if I convince someone to head out for a round after the show floor closes.

Myth, I'm totally down for grabbing a drink or two after. Provided I'm still there. But from the sound of it my ride is planning on staying late so we should be able to.

When you interview them, ask them question about different games.

Also, ask them if they would name an orc "Steve".
