Mucker Progress

Here's my Mucker in progress.  I've done a little blending, but I've still got to run the dip over it.

I'll get a picture after the dip, then after the dullcote, then finally after the final detail pickouts (mainly reapplying the shine to the metal)

Cool.  I like the metallic thing going on in the center of the drop-down-loincloth-thingie.  I had envisioned it as all leather with some studs.  I might have to add in some metal plates...

I think I didn't get enough of the dip off the mallet.  Also, I'm a little disappointed at how the dip completely washed out all the shading on the pants.

On the grubbers, I used too much dullcote.  On the (red) mucker, it's apparently too little.  Fortunately, I can always add more.

I've included the grubber and the blue mucker for comparison.  The grubber is fully dullcoted, while the blue mucker is still tacky from the dip.
