I really x1000000.44 want to see lair cards for the spawns rather than putting them on the monster cards.

Lair cards are what do the spawning, they are what do the variable count spawning, Lair cards are should be where the spawn rates are.

This enables you to fix issues like races that don't have or spawn captains (clockwork and infected) and also gives you a format for custom lairs types, either for specific story quests (this lair spawns only melee bugs), for factions that have multiple minion types (this is the grubber archery tower), or for factions that should share a minion type / lair (this is the razorfiend hovel.  Razorfiends are their own faction, but also a slave minion to the dragon knights.)

Yardu - This miniboss has been greatly discussed, as he is problematic for a number of reasons.  I believe a complete overhall of Yardu is in order to fix his need for undead miniatures, which don't exist in the base set.  As an undead giant, more martial abilities seem to be more in line than necromancy anyway.  (A necromancer miniboss would be a better place for some of his current abilities.)  Here is my recommendation to update Yardu, keeping him as a formidable foe, but not making him dependent on other specific monster races to function.
  • Keep Life, movement, defense, shield, sinner's sorrow, priorities, and threat range unchanged.
  • Add 1 FD to  devestate attack
  • Replace Faith of the Fallen with Siphon Soul: When Yardu successfully damages a hero with his Devastate attack,  on a FD roll of darkness, Yardu regains 1 vitality (maximum of his starting total)
  • Replace necrotic Aura with Terrifying Aura: Range 2, Heroes must pass a Courage Test before they can attack anything within Aura range.

This still ties him to necromancy, seems to be a better fit with being "an undead giant", and makes him very scary.  The range 2 fear aura will be a game changer on the battlefield, and combined with his ability to keep healing himself he will be very hard to take down.
